The house is located above Castelrotto on the south slope, overlooking the Sciliar and enjoys sunshine all day long. It offers a wonderful view of the valleys. The apartment is spacious, well-kept, and rustically furnished. We have already had personal contact with the friendly hosts, who are happy to answer any questions.
The beautiful surroundings, the animals on the farm, and the sound of the goat bells in the meadow by the house create an indescribable feeling of well-being.
We have been here many times and are always happy to return.read more

We highly recommend the Ronsolhof. We felt completely at home in the Ortler holiday apartment with its terrace and mountain view. The apartment is well-equipped and very clean. The farm is particularly recommended for families, as children have the opportunity to visit the animals (cows, rabbits, chickens, pigs, goats, cats, and ducks) at any time. The host family is extremely warm, accommodating, and helpful. The bread roll service is excellent. Thank you so much!read more

We (2 adults + 1 baby) spent a good week at the Ronsolhof in the Hauenstein holiday apartment and were absolutely thrilled. The apartment is spacious, super clean, and well-maintained. We borrowed a cot and a highchair. The view is fantastic! And the location is excellent for excursions to the Seiser Alm; it's just a few minutes' drive away. The landlady, Elisabeth, gave us lots of information, personal tips, and hiking ideas. The apartment also provided a lot of other information about the region.
We also had a short tour of the farm with lots of interesting information.
During our stay, we were always able to take advantage of the bread delivery service for the next morning and buy fresh, home-grown farm produce at fair prices (eggs, milk, etc.).
A visit to the farm animals (cows, chickens, goats, ducks, pigs, cats, and rabbits) is a great activity for children, as is the playground and—for bad weather—a playroom.
There is a covered parking space. And if we'd liked, we could have used a wood-fired barrel sauna.
We felt very comfortable.

You can hardly put it into words. It was a wonderful stay at the Ronsolhof. Located on the sunny side of the valley you have a breathtaking view of the Sciliar.
Elisabeth and Christian are very warm hosts who explained to us the everyday life of the farm including livestock farming during a leisurely tour. A farm you can touch and experience.
Our apartment was very comfortably furnished and we didn't miss anything.
How nice it was to be able to receive the breakfast basket with rolls and farm-made products every morning.
We have taken the Ronsolhof to our hearts and hope that we can visit it again soon.read more

I spent an unforgettable holiday with my family staying in the Sciliar apartment. The apartment is spacious, welcoming, quiet, and very clean, as is the entire farm. The view is breathtaking, directly overlooking the Catinaccio-Sciliar mountain range. The location is strategic, close to several hiking trails within walking distance and just a few minutes' drive from both the Alpe di Siusi and Castelrotto. Elisabeth is very friendly and attentive, always available to offer advice. You can taste the farm's delicious products.read more

The hosts are sooooooo warm and you should definitely experience a tour of the modern organic farm.
Fresh rolls and bread are available upon request, as well as our own products... what a great service ❤️
The holiday apartments are very lovingly furnished, everything is super clean!

Top holiday apartment, top location!
We had the Schlern holiday apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Apartment well furnished, very clean!
The view directly onto the Sciliar is a great mountain cinema.
The innkeepers run a large, modern farm with around 40 cattle, goats, chickens and ducks,
As we learned during a tour, the principles of the circular economy are essentially followed.
The location on the Seiser Alm makes the farm ideal for all types of mountain hikes - from easy to difficult. The hostess' recommendations were very helpful! The service was A1!read more

We've stayed for one week in February 2023. This is an amazing place. The view is fantastic, the rooms are cozy and the place really makes you feel at home. We've enjoyed some of the products from the farm(milk, eggs, yogurt) and they were really delicious. The host was really friendly and helpful and I was able to find more details about the history of the area, tips about where to go and so on. If I will go back to this area I will definitely ask first here to see if there is any availability.read more

We once again enjoyed a great holiday at the Ronsolhof in the middle of blooming alpine meadows. This was our second time here and we're sure it won't stay that way. The Ronsolhof has large and smaller cozy holiday apartments that are well equipped. From each apartment you have a fascinating view of the Schlern nearby and across the meadows to the Ötztal Alps in the distance.
The owners, the Prossliner family, are simply great. Elisabeth in particular is always there for the guests, has valuable tips and information and fulfills requests for fresh products from the farm.
The farm is ideally located, very quiet and yet conveniently located for trips by car and bus. Also for hikes to the Seiseralm, Marinzen, Schafstall, etc.
Another thing about the farm: If you are interested in it, you will get a lot of impressions and information about the very modern farm. If you don't like that, you won't even notice that you live on a farm.
We have grown very fond of the cat Melli. But surely we won't be the only ones asking for theirs

From the booking to the departure an all-round successful stay. The Prossliner family is extremely hospitable and lives up to it. Everything fits. The apartment is very spacious and was absolutely clean when we arrived. For holidaymakers there are various products from the farm (highly recommended) and a bread roll service. This comprehensive care and warmth of the Prossliner family is rounded off by a breathtaking view of the Santnerspitze and the Sciliar.

The apartment is located in an excellent position to access the Alpe di Siusi. I was there in December 2019. Compared to the town of Siusi, the hamlet of San Valentino is more exposed to the sun and this is a great advantage in winter and the view is panoramic over Sciliar and the Isarco valley.
I was in the Castelvecchio apartment, the smallest of the 3, but we were comfortable with 3 people, with the right amount of space.
In the morning the kind owner Elisabeth makes you find fresh bread, yogurt, raw milk, jams, etc. everything at km 0.
For those who don't want to use the car, the ski bus that takes you to the Siusi cable car passes in front of the apartment.

My husband and I took the train from Vienna to Salzburg, then to Bolzano on our way to Tuscany, renting a car and staying at Ronsolhof from Sept 28 - Oct 1 2016. It was delightful to stay on this working dairy farm with a short drive to the mountains for hiking. The fresh milk, yogurt and homemade breads brought to us daily were delicious. The apartment was clean and well furnished and offered a nice sunny balcony with a gorgeous view. We really enjoyed our hardworking host, Elizabeth, who generously took the time to orient us to the area, show us the farm, and just sit and visit with us. Ronsolhof was a nice breath of fresh air for us after lots of sightseeing in the cities.....Would highly recommend!read more
