Sport and Leisure:
Several walking trails pass by closely to our farmhouse. They offer a stunning panoramic view onto the magic surroundings. On the farm you are exactly on the right spot to take easy walks, to exercise Nordic walking, to jog, cycle or to just simply relax in the sun. If you enjoy swimming you find an open-air pool in Telfen or you can dive into in the nearby natural Laghetto di Fie/ Völser Weiher lake.
You find a 18-hole golf course, several tennis and mini golf facilities, bowling halls, horse riding farms and a lot of other infrastructure not far from where we are. For a cultural experience you can visit many medieval castles as well as museums, including the Ötzimuseum. It hosts the world-famous 5000 year old ice mummy, which was found on the glaciers in South Tyrol.
The Alpe di Siusi, the largest high-altitude pasture area in Europe and a renowned region for winter sports and walking can be reached in a few minutes. The large variety of flowers during summer and the immaculate snow cover during winter are a nature paradise for people who love the mountains, sport and natural environments.

Here a short description of the four seasons and what they offer:
Spring:The changing of the clock makes the days become longer.Work on the fields and the chopping of the fruittrees and bushes begins now.
Enjoy the wonderful sight of the fresh green meadows just in front of our farmhouse, which now are coverd with the yellow blossoms of dandelions.
The nice smell of the fruitblossoms, the trees are in their full beauty are tempting the bees. Experience wonderful walking trips in the awaking nature after long winter days.
Summer: During Summer the beauty of the landscape in the dolomites offers numerous mountain routes, climbing tracks, mountain bike trails or simple walking paths for families. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the natural beauty of the area.
Autumn: The golden autumn lets your heart beat faster. Settled weather. A splendid visibility, the colourful leaves of the trees and bushes reward you on your hiking trips around our farm and on the Alpe di Siusi-Seiser Alm.
The summer is over when the cattle are brought from the mountain pasture down to the village. Watch the colourful decorated cows with wreathes and bells around their necks. Listen to the chiming of these bells, it’s something typical for the homecoming of the cows.
Autumn is the period for “Törggelen”, too. Many farms and inns in the surrounding offer typical food and invite you to try the new wine, very often with background music.
Winter: In winter 60 km of prepared ski pistes await skiers of all kind. A large snowboard park with several jumps and rails, 60 km of Nordic ski pistes, various sledging tracks and perfectly prepared snow walking trails invite you to indulge.
In the Alpe di Siusi ski arena we are directly connected to the Gardena Valley ski resort and it’s famous Sella ski roundtrip.
The Christmas Market in Kastelruth gives you a real cosy feeling. There you can enjoy typical local products in a real Winter-Christmas athmosphere.
If you are keen, you will be able to experience a very special type of “night skiing” on the night lit Marinzenpiste which is not far from our house.
